Great way to follow my Lakers!

Love the Lakers but this app is terrible. It always has errors and never allows me to sign in no matter how may times I reset my password.

To start off this application has a lot to live up to being a mobile conduit to the NBAs greatest franchise and for the most part it succeeds. The design will be familiar to anyone who has been on the teams official website as a blend of purple, gold and white drape the background. Navigation is easy from either the home page or other areas of the app as one can customize content displayed by way of news, schedule or video from the main screen or just simply use the side menu to go elsewhere. The content feeds are sufficient in getting an update on what has been happening with the team the past few weeks. Users can read game notes, team stats, schedules, standings, photo galleries of in game or game related action, Twitter feeds, as well as share articles with other fans of the team or friends. Users can even listen to games by way of radio from in app. Where the application really shines is in allowing you access to all other extra content such as the social hub, wallpapers, the official team podcast, Laker Girls bios and more. While the app takes you to the official website to view most of this content, the browsing experience is still pleasant as load times are quick. This is important because many apps who take you out to external sites end up providing you with a sluggish and frustrating experience. The application does a good job in educating you on not just the Lakers day to day experience but the layout and offerings of the Staples Center venue where home games are played. Users can read about and purchase ticket packages, in game experiences, view the layout of the venue so you know where to go and how to get there as well as traveling directions and more. The app can also be used to manage your notifications so you can decide on receiving team news alerts, game start time, in game and game end alerts. The only thing essential feature I think is the missing is a historical archive of the franchise greatest moments. This franchise has so many that brought the city of LA together whether Kobe Bryants alley oop to Shaquille O Neal that brought them to their first NBA Finals together or Magic Johnsons sky hook that effectively defeated their historic rivals the Boston Celtics. This would be a highly valued category within the app. I would recommend this application to Lakers Nation and all the others who follow this prestigious organization.
